Add your items, collection or partial estate to one of our consignment auctions.  These types of auctions have proven to be a great success for sellers who don’t have enough items to hold an individual auction but want benefit of a bidder pool that a large event such as this provides. Our monthly consignment auctions would be a great option for you. Our monthly to bi-monthly consignment auctions have become a highly sought after event not only to participate in but to attend.  These regular auctions bring 300 to 400 bidders from surrounding states.

Our consignment auctions typically provide for multiple auctioneers selling simultaneously different types of items from vehicles, tools, equipment, to furniture, collectibles and antiques.  There is always something for everyone at these auctions.

The Consignment Process

Step 1 - Contact

The first step in the process is to contact a representative from Rawlings Auction, Appraisal & Realty, LLC. The representative will conduct a  review of your items and an estimated value if necessary.

You can contact us via e-mail or phone and by filling out our consignment form and attaching photos.

Step 2 - Consignment

After we review your items, you will be contacted by a Rawlings Auction representative. You will be asked to sign a contract and arrange shipment, drop off or pick-up of your items. At this time we will also provide details on upcoming sale dates and commission rates, and answer any additional questions you may have regarding consignment.

Step 3 - Inventory/Insurance/Storage

Once we have your items in our possession, they will be insured until the day they transfer to the winning bidder auction day.  Once we receive your consigned goods, we label them with your assigned consignor code for tracking purposes  This process ensures the proper documentation and tracking of your items. Prior to the auction, your items will be stored in one of our secured storage unit areas.

Step 4 - Catalog/Photograph/Print

We employ experts in the auction industry who will provide descriptions for your auction consignments. When it comes to highly specialized  categories, we enlist the services of individuals whom we consider to have the greatest knowledge and best reputation within their given field in order to ensure accurate and trustworthy descriptions for marketing venues/catalogs, if catalogs are prepared for the auction.

Step 5 - Marketing

We will aggressively market to assure maximum participation and nationwide exposure for your consignments. Brochures and catalogs will be mailed to top buyers and collectors based on category of interest to maximize the selling power of your consignments. An online campaign will be devised as will as print materials in certain publications.  The online campaign will include our website, national auction websites and other online venues. Our website includes items from the current auction, sneak peeks of upcoming auctions,  up-to-date market information and multiple bidding options for potential buyers.

Step 6 - Selling/Auction

Your consignments will be displayed online for as long as possible prior to the auction day. The longer the time frame for marketing the more exposure. A special preview is held the day prior to auction.   Times will be announced.

Step 7 - Consignor Payout

Rawlings Auction, Appraisal & Realty, LLC pays promptly its consignors. Payments are made within two weeks after the auction.
